The Project
The North Sea Wind Power Hub (NSWPH) is a concept for one or more islands on the Dogger Bank in the North Sea as the center for all wind energy that is generated there. In this project, Dutch, German and Danish network operators work together on the development of a junction of offshore wind farms with connections to the surrounding countries. international trade in electricity can take place via these connections.
International artificial island 2 is a third-year project in the fourth period of the civil engineering course at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. IAI2 is a follow-up to the previous project, IAI1. The emphasis is on training of competences 3 and 5. Each student must choose a civil engineering object and continue to specify this, they also got to draw up a management plan for this.
